SHOOT FOR CHANGE HITS $100,000
On December 10, 2011, Shoot for Change reached the $100,000 milestone. That’s $100,000 worth of donations to various nonprofit organizations through Shoot for Change photography. Special thanks to everyone who supported Shoot for Change throughout the years and for all the generosity you provided to the numerous nonprofit organizations of your choice. Whether you purchased a print, a photoshoot, attended an event, or simply shared the story with a friend, thank you for turning this milestone from being a possibility to a reality.
PARTNERSHIP: $42,565
Includes events where Shoot for Change partnered with an individual or an organization, such as The Resident Artists Sale at the Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home, Prelude to a Royal Wedding benefiting Capital Breast Care Center, and the photobooth at The Washington Ballet’s The Nutcracker.
PHOTOSHOOT: $36,335
Includes individual, group, corporate events, weddings, engagement photos, product catalog, and Family Day portraits. In 2010, SFC Family Day was introduced and has generated $15,300 since then.
SHOOT FOR CHANGE EVENTS: $10,960
Includes events hosted primarily by Shoot for Change, like Project Inspiration, Project Panda, and SFC’s 10×10.
PRINTS: $10,235
Includes 100% of the proceeds from sale of prints, cards, matchboxes, photographs, or canvas photos displayed at various galleries, furniture stores, restaurants, hair salons, and other locations.
